Tuesday Talk: Fall Decor and More
September 19, 2018

Most of the time our posts at Effortless Property Solutions focus on real estate investing and our creative solutions to selling your home with us. Instead of focusing on the real estate market, the local economy and the investing atmosphere in the Huntsville area also known as the Silicon Valley of the South, we thought we’d change gears a little. Today we begin our Tuesday Talk of the Town featuring fall decor and more. Let’s get started! Here are a few new, innovative, even a bit traditional, things to do in the Huntsville/Tennessee Valley area for Fall. After all, isn’t liveability a large reason why buyers, buy?
Apple Cider and Pumpkins
We happen to live a quick hop, skip and jump from an apple orchard. When we get a craving for frozen apple cider (yes, it’s a thing) or we are ready to pick out some fun pumpkins for our fall decor, we head to Isom’s Orchard on HWY 72 in Athens. Check them out on Facebook for hours. They also offer fresh from the farm peaches, apples and other produce year round.
But first, Coffee
If there is one thing the south is known for, its our hospitality. What better way to show our hospitality than to offer our friends a coffee date! Our favorite little coffee spot in downtown Huntsville is Honest Coffee Company. This company began in Franklin, TN and is a must stop when in Nashville for a quick pick me up! Now open in downtown Huntsville, with a cool vibe and outdoor seating. We love their Cortado which is a gorgeous espresso with just a touch of steamed milk. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.
Craft Beer Anyone?
Don’t like coffee you say? We’ve got you covered in this section. It’s time to talk about beer, not just any beer though. We are talking about the budding craft beer industry in the Huntsville area. With over 10 breweries and more opening soon, we suggest Campus 805 with three breweries within walking distance of each other. Each brewery tends to have featured seasonal brews and light eats. Check out this page for a full line up of the craft beer trail.
Watch the Leaves Fall
Does anyone else dream of the fall leaves? To see all that North Alabama has to offer may we suggest the North Alabama Rail’s Fall Color Special ride. Get your tickets now, a few dates are already SOLD OUT. Even if you can’t make the train ride, go for a walk on one of the many trails and pick up your own fall decor without having to spend a dime.
If you didn’t know already, Huntsville is growing! We are the Silicon Valley of the South. As small business owners, we try to frequent other small businesses whenever possible. If you are ever in need of ideas for cool spots for a coffee with friends, a bite to eat, and reviews of local eateries, check out Eat Huntsvilles’ Instagram page. They are forever making our mouths water!
